Christopher Monroe, CEO of CPS- began in the financial services industry 14 years ago with the Principal Financial Group. While at Principal he was elected New Agent of the Year and was promoted to Sales Manager becoming one of the Top 10 Managers in the United States . In 2000 he joined

Life Insurance Company's (MassMutual) Peoria Agency and was introduced to LEAP®. He utilizes the LEAP strategy for his private clients and with his business clients' succession plans. Chris' experiences are unusually varied both within this industry and outside of it. He has started a business from its inception in 2002, The Plain Daisy. In addition, he has successfully purchased his own family business and turned a “mom and pop” business into an innovative and state of the art second-generation, family owned, medical supply company. Chris began volunteering with his father at 10 years of age and continues to have an unwavering commitment to his community. Chris has served on several boards and received multiple awards including the Prescott E. Bloom Distinguished Service Award . One of his greatest accomplishments was to bring CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) to Peoria County . He spent 2 years introducing this to the community and after it was an active charity, he served as President of the Board for 3 years. His latest project is serving as Pacesetter Co-Chair to build a Parish and Community Center at his church, St. Ann 's. Chris graduated Cum Laude from Wabash College in Indiana and currently resides in Washington, IL with his wife, Heather, and their four children. [Back to top]
Heather Monroe, COO of CPS - began her career with CPS and Family Medical Equipment & Supply simultaneously, currently performing as COO for both. Her area of expertise at CPS is to teach budgeting and cash flow strategies to her clients as they undertake the LEAP System. When working with business owners, she also has experience with various employee issues and how they relate to payroll, insurance, debt reduction, tax savings and more. Heather is passionate about children's issues and has run the 365-mile journey from Memphis, TN to Peoria, IL, 4 years to raise money for the St. Jude Children's Hospital. She served as Secretary of the CASA Board for 3 years and is currently the Pacesetter Co-Chair with Chris for the Capital Campaign at St. Ann 's Parish, the only Southside Catholic Church in Peoria. Heather has recently completed the Community Leadership School through the Peoria Area Chamber of Commerce and is very active in a wide variety of additional charities. Heather enjoys traveling with her family, spending time with her cats and learning to play golf. She is a native of East Peoria and graduated Summa Cum Laude from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale . She resides in Washington, IL with Chris and their four children. [Back to top]

Tim Rollet – A Peoria Native, Tim joined CPS in the Spring of 2009 after twenty-one years at the Peoria Journal Star. During his career, Tim held several key management positions including managing the Classified Advertising department, and, in 2007, became Advertising Director, reporting to the Peoria paper’s Publisher. As Advertising Director, Tim was responsible for leading over sixty employees and managing a multi-million dollar budget which represented the majority of the newspaper’s total income. Under Tim’s leadership, significant enhancements were made in staff training, pay structures for sales people, new product development, and processes for Sarbanes Oxley compliance. Tim was also one of the initiators of PJStar.com, leading the paper and its advertising products into the electronic age. In 1998 Tim was recognized by the Newspaper Association of America as one of “20 under 40.”
In 2009, Tim’s longtime passion for individual client counseling and interest in personal and business financial srategies led him to launch a new career where he could work directly with individuals and businesses to help them establish their financial goals. When he decided to make the change, Tim thought only of CPS, as he has been personally inspired by the LEAP system, and by the commitment, passion and depth of knowledge of long time friend and colleague Chris Monroe.
Tim has been an active member of the Peoria community, having served on the boards of the Better Business Bureau, Easter Seals, and the Illinois Press Association. Tim is also a graduate of the Peoria Chamber of Commerce Community Leadership School. Tim has two sons, Zac and Justin, and lives with his wife, Johna in Germantown Hills. [Back to top]

Erin Lard, Assistant - Erin is the Assistant to both Chris and Heather. Erin and her husband were clients for many years before she joined the company. Erin’s background is in marketing and healthcare coordination, serving as the surgical and marketing coordinator for one of the area's largest surgical groups before joining CPS. Being new to the Peoria area, Erin joined the Junior League of Peoria where she served the community with many of their projects and as Public Relations Chair. Erin serves on her neighborhood board as treasurer, also stays involved with a local Mother’s Group and St. Thomas Parish. Erin is originally from the St. Louis area and graduated from Baker University in Baldwin City, Kansas. She resides in Peoria, Illinois with her husband Brian and their two children. [Back to top]
